On June 11th, the Hotel The Westin Palace in Madrid, in collaboration with the writer and journalist Pilar Carrizosa, organized a show-cooking in which she presented a healthy menu for the summer, being Lodyn goat cheese one of the protagonists .
During this event, various professionals of the food and health sector talked about the importance of maintaining a healthy diet in order to prevent the appearance of cardiovascular and degenerative diseases, remarking the properties of foods rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids.
Also, the hotel’s Executive Chef, José Luque, designed and elaborated different healthy dishes, among which were the Lodyn goat cheese cream and the semi-cured Lodyn goat cheese.
Among other healthy dishes, it was possible to enjoy the following:
- Starter: Bonito del norte, Lodyn goat cheese and crispy tomatoes, seasoned with AOVE: over a tomato pancake, put bonito, Lodyn goat cheese squares, slices of chili pepper, flower petals and a good squirt of olive oil:
- First course: Smoothe of cheese-coconut with Lodyn cheese, cucumber and crispi wasaby : cheese soup with Lodyn cheese cream, coconut milk and garnished with julienne cucumber, seasoned with sugar and AOVE. We break some wasaby green peas above:
- Dessert: Backawas with Lodyn goat cheese foam , pistachio rocks, fresh mint and broken raspberries: with the Lodyn cheese cream a siphon foam is made, and a broken siphon sponge cake topped with fresh raspberry and mint leaves cool:
Undoubtedly a very creative and delicious day with which we can enjoy this summer healthy ideas that accompany us in all kinds of moments, and with which we can surprise friends and family.
